Open Banking allows Payers to authorize payments directly from their bank account using PSD2-compliant bank APIs.

Authorization Flow

1. The Payer is redirected to Yugo Checkout (or directly to their bank if pre-selected)
2. The Payer selects their bank from the list of supported institutions
3. The Payer authenticates with their bank (typically via mobile app or SMS)
4. The bank authorizes the payment and returns the Payer to the Merchant

You can optionally pre-fetch the list of available banks via the API and pass a bank identifier when creating the Payin Intent. This skips the bank selection step and reduces friction.
