Bank Account Settlement
Bank Account Settlement delivers funds directly from the Payer's bank to the Merchant's pre-configured IBAN.
API value: settlement.method = bank_account
How It Works
- The Payer authorizes the payment via their bank
- The bank initiates a transfer to the Merchant's IBAN
- Funds arrive in the Merchant's bank account
Yugo does not intermediate the funds in this flow. The transfer is bank-to-bank.
Settlement Timing
| Rail | Typical Timing |
|---|---|
| Instant SEPA | 1–2 minutes |
info
Yugo is not notified when the bank completes the final money transfer. The Payin status moves to COMPLETED after authorization, which does not guarantee that funds have arrived in the Merchant's bank account.
Configuration
During onboarding, Yugo configures one or more IBANs for the Merchant. When creating a Payin Intent, the Merchant specifies which IBAN to use via the settlement.iban field.
Constraints
- Only available with open banking as the payment method
- The Merchant must have at least one pre-configured IBAN
- No dispute or chargeback risk (open banking payments are irrevocable)
